I am looking for a replacement lead that connects my Speedtouch modem to the
ADSL wall socket - I'm not entirely sure what this is (is it RJ45 ??).
Anyway, any sources of leads at least 2 metres long and preferably
white/cream rather than black, would be much appreciated.

Its more likely an RJ-11 to RJ-11 lead that you need.
Staples, pc world, local computer shop or ebay spring to mind. Maybe even
dixons will sell them.

RJ11 cable. I recently bought one off Ebay.

days.

Any idea whether there are leads that are better than others?

I'm wondering if a twisted pair lead would be better for preventing local
equipment radiating noise into the receive spectrum.
