Repeater Question

What is repeated with an AP configured to repeater mode...The Linksys
wap11, for example, requires a MAC address when setting up the
repeater. Does it repeat all information sent FROM that MAC address,
TO that MAC address or both?

It hardly seems functional unless the answer is both.

It's a bidirectional repeater, so both ways. TO and FROM.
