when Telewest wish to supply services to a new address for the first time,
if the services are being supplied to a tenant they need a 'wayleave' signed
by the landlord.

this is so that the landlord cannot take action against them for drilling a
hole in the front of their house or whatever.

as soon as Telewest have the landlords permission (signed wayleave), they
will progress the order the same as they would any other.

A guy at Telwest said it could take up to 21 days for the letter to filter
into there computer system.

Shocking.
