Renewing certificate for Exchange 2007 OWA

Hi,

We have a Exchange 2007 CAS role installed in NLB and configured SSL with
internal CA cerificate and now certificate is getting Expired,request you pls
help me for the below points.

1) How to renew the same Certificate from CA Server.
2) After getting new certificate do we need to configure the same in all
client machine for RPC over https /outlookanywhere ? I remember in Exchange
2007 to configure outlook anywhere we installed the OWA cerificate in client
machines.So once certificate is reneved do we need to install new certificate
in all those client machine?

Hi Mahesh,

The default SSL certificate in Exchange 2007 expires every 1 year, so yes
you will have to re-issue a certificate and also in part 2 of your question
as it is a new cert I would have said that you do have to re-issue the
certificate to Outlook Anywhere users too.

To rebuild Certificate go into The Exchange Management Shell and type the
following:
* "New-ExchangeCertificate" (CaSe SenSitiVE)
* Followed by "Y" to confirm.

* Next follow the steps available here

certificate and allow the services you require
