Using Win 2000 Server

After having renamed the Built-in Administrator account, I am still able to
log in with the Username "Administrator" as well as the new name I gave the
account. The default Admin account shows up with the new name and there is
no account with the name Administrator ,yet I can log onto the domain using
the username Administrator.

Any enlightenment GREATLY appreciated!

TIA

Hello RichK,

If this machine is a member of the domain, then make sure that this machine
is not logging in using cached credentials.

What you could do is try to delete the profile that was used by the previous
user
and then see if it will still allow you to login?
