I have a domain that I'm running several xp professional machines on. Well,
since I'm using a DNS sometimes I need to remove a machine from the domain
and then reinstall it into the domain. I have no problems inserting a
machine into the domain, how do I remove one from the domain? I have all of
the administrator capabilities. It appears that in order to remove one from
a domain I must either put in in another domain or a workgroup. Please I
need help.

Thanks

That is correct. To remove a domain client machine from a domain requires
the machine to join a workgroup or another domain. You could also delete
the machine accounts at the DC and rejoin the clients to the domain.
