I got a new fabulous server and stupidly implemented (SBS 2003) it next to
my old network with the same domain name. I wiped my old PDC and made it a
server in the new domain. My old internet server was also acting as a BDC
and remained in the old domain. I would now like to move that server to the
new domain, but it won't let me because i need to demote it first. I can't
seem to demote it either. It claims its not the last server in the domain,
probably because the new domain has the same.

I just tried moving the server out of the subnet, but that didnt' work. I
then put it on a hub all by itself, and that didnt' work either.

Other ideas?

Do you show any DC's in "AD Users & Computers"? I ran into a similar
case and had to remove all DC's from Active Directory and DNS before
demoting.
