The fast way to fix this problem is to get a WindowsMe boot diskette (do NOT
try to substitute any other, it must be a genuine WindowsMe boot diskette),
start the system up, and when you reach the DOS prompt (A:\>) type the
following and press Enter:
SYS C:
Then remove the diskette and restart the computer. Then have "someone"
remove the Windows XP mess they left behind.
