Removing deleted user from login window

Hello,

We have a couple of Win98 machines on which I have deleted old users using
Control Panel - Users, etc.

However, their names keep popping up in the Windows Networking Logon Window
whenever the machine is rebooted - even after I deleted them.

How can I get rid of these old users' names appearing in the Logon Window?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Rick
