Remove server description

Earlier today I removed the description from a Windows 2000 Server
machine. The server's name is monolith, and its description was "Windows
software server." Monolith now appears in Entire Network under Windows
XP Professional as just "Monolith" (it used to appear as "Windows
software server (Monolith)," but when My Network Places adds a shortcut
for a recently used share it still shows up as "ShareName on Windows
software server (Monolith)."

I have rebooted both the client and the server, and it's been a few
hours since I did all this.

What else do I need to do to get My Network Places to forget the former
description?

Ah, never mind. I found the description in my user registry hive, under
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Exp lorer\ComputerDescriptions.
I just deleted the one with the unwanted description.
