I have a client who has three 2003 std. servers. No exchange is installed.
They want to remove the 1st server (older) and leave the other two (newer)
in place. Is there a good step by step procedure for this?

Thanks,

Frank

If the DC doesn't host AD roles, you can use demote command to remove it.

The old 2003 server is the first server installed when the network was created. The other two came along about one year later. Thus it hosts all of the roles.
