hi..

we have 1 windows 2003 server.
Earlier we had 3 domains in same forest. But unfortunately all child domians
get crash.
but now their names are still displays in the domain list when clients
logins..

I had tried to remove by using ntdsutil tool, but of not use..
IS THERE ANY PROCESS SO THAT I CAN REMOVE THESE NON EXISTING DOMAIN NAMES....

Check "Active Directory Domains and Trust"

If you run several domains in a forest, there will be automatic trust
relationship between them. It's possible they're still listen as trusts,
even if they're no longer accessible.

You may want to use NTDSUTIL to remove them.

AD & DCResolutions: Try NTDSUTIL, Tapicfg.exe and dcpromo /forceremoval. Refer to case 082604JH. What will happen when demoting a DC ...
