remote routing wont reconnect after connection lost

using routing and remote services to link to seperate
buildings via the internet\vpn using windows 2003
servers.

my internet connection has been dropped from time
to time, and my remote connection becomes unreachable
at one of the locations. starting and stopping related
services wont reconnect the demand dial router connection.

the only solution is to reboot the servers at each
location.
