Remote process management api question

Hi,

I'm trying to control processes running on remote winxp pro, or win2003
advanced server machines via my web site. In particular, I need the ability
to locate, and kill processes that are running on remote windows servers.
Does anyone have any experience in this area, or know how this could be
accomplished? I have tried pstools, and so far haven't been able to
communicate between 2 winxp pro machines. The web site is using PHP, and
PERL.

Any info would be much appreciated.
