Hello Conny,
Thanks for the advice. However, I am still having the same problem.
I used the CUPS configuration tool and in the KDE print manager, I can now
see the Epson Stylus C80 entry but there is still no print output. As I had
mentioned above, when I go to the shell command, I enter "hostname -i", and
I continue to get a loopback address "127.0.0.0" instead of a DHCP address.
Any reason why this is?
