I want to connect to my friends pc using the internet and
download some files from his hard drive to mine.

He's running Win98 and connects to the internet using
RoadRunner cable access. He's not on a network.

I'm running Win ME and have a DSL connection to the
internet and am also connected to 2 other computers on a
home network.

I don't want to use dial-up to accomplish the file
transfer. Any other way I can connect to him and
complete the file transfer?
