Hello,

I have a Win2003 Advanced Server and DC that is an in-
place upgrade from a Win2K. For some reason the remote
desktop does not work. Yes the checkbox is clicked and the
service is running and the settings are correct and the
NICs are not firewalled but I still cannot "see" the
server remotely. From the client standpoint it is as if
there is no terminal server at that IP (I never get a
login prompt or anything). Notice that the server has two
NICs and they both have the exact same problem. In short
it seems as if the service is not running or it is not
enabled but this is not the case. Any ideas?

thanks
christos

you may want to test the TS port by using telnet ip 3389.
