I am installing a Sonicwall enhanced 2040 and using their vpn. The remote
clients can get through the firewall and are authenticated through an MS
Intentnet Authentication Server. The log files indicate that the users are
being authenticated successfully. However, they can only connect to some of
the share drives. The drives they can connect to are on domain controllers.
Shared drives on member servers cannot be found. Any ideas?

Probably, this is just a name resolution issue - something which is common
when using this kind of connection. Have a VPN client execute
\\<IPaddressofMemberServer>. If this works, then depending on how many
clients/member servers you are dealing with, the easiest solution many be
old fashioned lmhosts files on the clients:

<IPaddressofMemberServer> <NameofMemberServer> #PRE

Thank you for your response. I am unable to ping the member servers or any
other device behind the firewall except domain controllers. I created a
LMHOSTS file on a client and the problem persists. I'm open to any ideas.

If they can't ping by IP address, this suggests a routing issue - perhaps
the member servers are on a different subnet from the domain controllers.
