I would like to offer remote assistance to the users on our network.

1. How do I set this up?

The network is 2003 standard server with DC that handles AD, DHCP, DNS. All
users are XP Pro.

I don't think you have to "set it up",...I think it is already there, you
just have to use it. I think it is even already turned on by default on the
Clients,...if not then turn it on.

I have never personally used it,..but I believe it just genrates an email
for the user and they send it to someone (like you),...the email has a link
that when you select it, it will connect to the client's machine with RA.

It will not work with Windows 2000 no matter which end it is on. Sounds
like you are ok as far as that goes.

Ah! Very good. I had fogotten that there was a non-invitation method. I'll
have to dig into that later, it may be useful here for me.

I knew this was a more complicated issue than just sending an offer for help.
There needs to be group policy and some other things. I'll study all the
links you gentlemen have provided and post back early next week.

Thanks for steering me in the right direction.
