There isn't really much that can be said on this issue without a lot
more detail on how the firewall appliance works.
My first suggestion is to read the specifications of the firewall
carefully. There is every chance that it can support a VPN connection
itself. If it can't, you should be able to see from the documentation how to
get VPN traffic from the public interface to a VPN server on the private
LAN.
