regarding proxy

Hi folks..
I need to configure my squid proxy to allow the yahoo messenger only
for some machines.
Is there is any way to configure like that.? If it is tell me the
procedure?

Because i am very new and some one tell me how to cinfigure squid in a
step by step basis

In the quid.conf file, you can define ACLs based on the client IPs. Then
you can allow/deny these ACLs for specific hosts (ex: the name/ip of the
messenger servers).
