Reflashing D-Link DSL-300G+ Modem

Anyone thinking of re-flashing their D-Link DSL-300G+ modem in the hope that
the new build (b4t12uk) will cure the 30sec. DHCP leasetime timeout problem
should be aware that it does *NOT* solve the prob. There is still no
setting for the DHCP leasetime. It *IS*, however, now possible to change the
default username and password (wow!).

Well it would appear that there is in theory. It just does not work

Probably because that is a security problem. You cannot stop anyone
on the local network from messing with settings if cannot change
the password.

I probably should file a bug report about the dhcp 30 second lease.
