And now something completly different:

Bullshit!!

OpenSource driver? Really Great Idea, but let us know, that
even now - it's still messy. Maybe my doings were not-so-fine (when i was
trying to woke-up DWL-520+ driver), but... I don't think so...
I am really disapointed. All my hope went to that project, but it has
failed.
Well. Again. what's the big problem with ACX100 cards?
Maybe U will help me?
(a few days ago I've described my trouble with an 8180L chipset-based card -
ofcourse without sense-reaction).
First of all, I've installed my new DWL-520+ card inside my linux box.
I've made my instalation-steps (ACX100 opensource driver, downloaded from
http://acx100.sourceforge.net/ )
after insmod src/acx100_pci.o firmware_dir=firmware_path ... kernel was
still fine! I could even try some "iwconfig wlan0" settings
//Text insertion
(i.e:
#iwconfig wlan0
wlan0 IEEE 802.11b ESSID:"osanet" Nickname:"acx100 v0.2.0pre6"
Mode:Ad-Hoc Channel:13 Cell: 00:00:00:00:00:00
Bit Rate=11Mb/s Tx-Power:20 dBm
Retry min limit:5
Encryption key

ff
Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0
)
//End of text insertion
And??... Well. After "ifconfig wlan0 ip_number up" system crashes, and
that's the story.
SO HELP ME IF U CAN, MY GOODMAN. ANSWER THE QUESTION, OR ENYBODY - HELP.
MAYBE I'M SO CLOSE TO FINISHiT?
