Hi all,
I have to W2K DCs One of the is running the DHCP service,
For redundancy i wish for the other DC to host the dhcp
scope as well. I cannot find a whitepaper on this for how
to configure it. I seem to recall something about one
server should answer 70 percent of the clients??
Can anyone help

Hi Brad,

Here is a support article on configuring split scopes in DHCP:

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;280473

Basically, you put the full range of the scope on both servers. On the first
server you exclude the last 30% of the address space. On the second server
you exclude the first 70% of the address space. (That article shows a 50/50
split but you can set the exact percentages to meat your needs.)
