Hello,

I have just begun evaluating Red Hat Enterprise WS 3.0 to possibly replace
my Sun Solaris workstation environment and have one large issue.

I have a Sun One Directory Server serving LDAP for automounting and
authentication. Does anyone know how I can configure my RedHat system to
use this LDAP server. Sun says it is supported but won't say how.

Thanks,

Rich

RTFM - there is an excellent LDAP howto for Linux which covers client
configuration (the LDAP Implementation Howto). You'll need to setp pam to
process authentication, nss for ldap lookups. Try
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&i...=Google+Search
for some hints.

Don't know about automount - but google seems to have lots of references
again.

C.
