Red Hat 9 + ez-ipupdate

Is anyone else having problems compiling the newest ez-ipupdate (3.0.11b7)
on Redhat 9? I've tried this on three separate machines all running RH9 -
and all come up with the same error message.

The binary version for download on the ez-ipupdate site appears to suffer
the same problem for ODS as did the previous versions - malformed cache
errors. So I can't use that.

Has anyone else had any success?

Yes. Well maybe. Actually I am using 3.0.11b8. It compiles with no
problem. Works just fine.
