reconnecting to network

Whenever I lose connectivity on my wireless notebook, the
only way I know to reestablish it is to reboot the
computer. Is there a faster/easier way to get my
connection back?

Yep. Go to the taskbar and lookup the network icon on the
rightmost end. Right mouse clicking on the icon shows a
menu with connect/disconnect.
