Hi,
I have set up a workgroup with a standalone Windows 2003 server which
provides Dhcp. I have ten identically configured (I think) XP Pro clients
accessing three open shares on the server. All clients are configured for
dynamic dns.
The issue I am having is that two of the clients are taking a little extra
time to establish an ip and windows notifies with "Could not reconnect all
network drives".
At this point, a program that accesses those network shares does not
execute until I browse to the shares which automatically re-connects or
until I re-map the shares.
I have tried using static ips with no effect on the problem.
What is the issue and what can I do to resolve it?
Thanks,
Shush
