Can anybody recommend a webhost with approx 100Mb (or more) of space with a
flat yearly fee of less than £30?

If you think you may ever need support, don't touch 1&1 with a barge
pole. They are in India, and useless - they don't even know what a web
form is!

I use 123-reg, no problems and same day replies to email.

www.myqth.com is one service I've used. However, it depends a bit on your
needs (PHP, CGI, MySQL, etc, etc...) You might consider asking in another
group such as uk.net.providers and perhaps state anything else you need
from the service...

They do a £24.99 250Mb web package. More importantly their support is
the best. Usual turn around on a support ticket is about 2 hours. The
forums are also full of helpful members and staff.

and no I dont work for them, but I do have 6 websites hosted with them

www.mesopia.com, especially if you might wish to use more than one domain or
need shared SSL.

Not only that - their web mail system can't save sent mail - there's no
"Sent Items" folder. How crap is that?

I heard they were recommended in The Sunday Times ?!
