Recommend good range AP/Mac OSX compatible

I'm helping a friend put wireless in his Cul-de-sac, so we need an AP that
is strongly signaled, acceptably priced and can be easily administered from
Mac OSX. I assume there is something stronger than Airport Extreme.

Any suggestions?
