Hi, does anyone know the max rssi / signal quality values for the
realtek 8186 board

The chipset returns RSSI values from 0 to 255.
Some vendors convert that to 0 to 100% in their drivers.

I have a feeling that's not what you really want to know.
Could you explain what you're trying to accomplish and what you have
to work with and maybe we can answer your question?
