Hi there. I have a Gateway 2000 Solo 2300 laptop and am trying to
install a realtek 8180 chipset wireless-b pcmcia card. When I install
the drivers for the card the computer locks up. If I eject the card
while the computer is locked up is unfreezes and is fine until i
reinsert the card. The card seems to work perfectly on win-xp and win
2000 but my computer is to slow to run these o/s. I really would like
to get this card up and running on 98SE and am looking for any
suggestions. Obviously a software issue since the card works in xp and
2000. I have downloaded the drivers from both the card manufacturer
and realtek and I get the same results. Any help would be greatly
appreciated!!!

P.S. - This issue also occurs in windows ME. Please help!
