Really simple question: Networking for beginners

HI there,

I was wondering if anyone can recommend any books for someone who wants to
start out Networking. Basically I dont want to know the theropy but more of
the practical side. For example how to write logon scripts, add services,
other bare essentials.

If I have posted this in he wrong room the apologies. Any recommendations
would be help.

I book that I found extremely helpful in understanding networks and working
with them under Windows Server 2003 was "Windows Server 2003 - Weekend Crash
Course" from Wiley.
