Hi

Tried all of that, file and printer sharing etc are enabled (boxes ticked)
but still cant swap files and share the internet.

Both connections show to be working, both are sending but have not received
any data. Can i remove the lot and start again, when i right click on the
connection delete is greyed out.

thanks in advance

Gary

disable all network adapters on the network, wireless is annoying in the
sense that it takes ages when using DHCP to get the address, whereas
ethernet is nice... even though wireless is meant to be based on the same
framework as ethernet

anyhow disable all the network adapters then try to remove the network and
set it up again

also a few pointers

try pinging and see if all messages get received etc.

try pinging to router from hosts and even from router config to the hosts,
determine if packaets are arriving etc and see if you can narrow down the
problem to a prticular host or group of computers etc.

HTH
