I'd *guess* that the question marks should refer to the names of a month and
am/pm, and that it is trying to display these according to the current
locale settings. In which case I'd check the locale settings as it may be
that something is amis with the date formats which are set there.
Don't think its a reflection on the NIC, just something mis-configured in
windows.
