Re: removing workstations from network

Hello Mark,

If the machines are not longer in the domain you can safely delete them.
Chekc also the DNS zones if some records exist for them and delete them also.
If you use a WSUS server you have to remove them there also manual.

There is no best practise but if you like to have the "real" overview you
have to cleanup. Of course this requires communication between the material
holder, helpdesk people and administrators if they are not all the one and
only person.
