I've tried the same. I followed the directions to a "T". First I
tried it over the network. I made sure to disable my firewall and an
VPN software. I then tried it through a direct connection to my
desktop, Windows XP. No luck.
I then even tried what another gentleman in this thread tried with the
Xbox on. Still no luck.
What am I missing? I really like this adapter and it really works
well, but I want to disable SSID broadcast. Figures Microsoft would
make it difficult for us to be able to fully SECURE our wireless
networks. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the 1.02 firmware
update setup routines.
Any help is appreciated.
