I did re-install Sp1 and all associated updates, What do you think led me to
believe that it was the root cause of my issues?..I wouldn't have posted my
solution had I not verifed it .. Six hours of loading things one at a time
till I found the culprit... Luckily I run a sparse setup or it would have
been much more effort than it was...
Glad it took you two days to respond to my issue and then the best you
could do was to doubt my claim. For the most part, people join an
information type newsgroup for help, not mockery. I realize that
configurations are as varied as can be but your blanket statement certainly
wasn't helpful...
Like I said..as soon as I take the SP1 update my laptop locks up about
every 6 minutes..not even close to enough time to take even the tiniest of
the other updates...And there just isn't enough time in the day to take them
all one at a time...
MN-720 is headed back to the store where it came from to be replaced
with a Linksys or equivalent(hopefully less prone to problems).. Unless
you'd care to offer some assistance somewhat less limited than what you've
already offered?
Maybe you can post a link to just the Wi-FI rollup..I'll take that one first
and then try re-installing SP1 ... Ol' reliable Windows update has
decided to stop working so I cannot open the UI on my laptop anymore.
