Sad to say it but in the USA there are still ISP's that disable or cripple
the built in router in their modem in order to force users to pay extra for
every IP value other than the first one, to say nothing about wireless
access. From what I've read the same holds true for many other countries.

Add your own ddwrt or other router and you can add the devices of your
choice and not have to beg for another IP from the ISP, along with their
increase in the monthly bill.
