As a dad I'd like to do the same thing but I don't believe DD-WRT provides
logging of that detail. If I'm wrong, someone let me know.

I use Netgear routers, and they do provide logging. Here is an example
of what the logs provide:

[BLOCK:server2.as5000.com] Source: 192.168.100.10 Friday, 15 Aug 2008
13:54:00
[ALLOW: feeds.feedburner.com] Source: 192.168.100.11 Friday, 15 Aug 2008
13:59:05
[ALLOW: radblast-mi.wunderground.com] Source: 192.168.100.10 Friday, 15
Aug 2008 13:59:53
[ALLOW: icons-sf.wunderground.com] Source: 192.168.100.10 Friday, 15 Aug
2008 13:59:53

The older routers provided email the logs out, but had no ability to
validate a user with the email server. I had to play games to get
around that! The present router I have, a Netgear WNR1000 does have the
ability to validate the user to the email server.
