Re: Broadband Networking Utility keeps reinstalling itself

What he forgot to mention is that the MSBNMDonload.exe
installs the files, updates the system, then deletes all
the files the next you shutdown/startup. Works great for
a one time but stops an OS upgrade in its tracks.

what do you mean by stopping an OS upgrade in its tracks?

Extract the files from the msbndownload.exe file with Winrar.
you'll then have a copy of msbn.msi to point toward.

I *think* he means that when the Windows Installer thinks it is still
installing a program, Windows installer will block an operation like an
OS/QFE update.
