Hi,
I asked similar question last week but werent too sure what to ask as I
didnt have access to the server, now I have more details

I have a 2003 Server OEM Dell, currently the remote users are using remote
desktop to access the server apllication, I know there are 3 users by
default under RDP-tcp, but now I needed more users, I purchased 5 users TS
CAL OEM, but I am not sure if installing the Terminal Server Services and
then add the new 5xCAL will remove the default 3 users or not, could some
experts clarify this ?

My thinking is that 3+5 =8 concurrent users or is it 3+5=5 ?

The server is OEM, running as a workgroup server, currently 2.5GB RAM so
should be able to cope with the number of users, can upgrade to 4GB if
needed later on. Theres only this server, no other Windows server on the
network.

Thank you

ps. I build a test 2003 server, installed Terminal Server Licensing without
adding any licences, and found that I cant even logon to the server via
remote desktop, does this indicate the default 3 user access are removed as
soon as the TSL are installed ?

Sorry, like an idiot I forgot to turn on Remote desktop, I CAN connect to
the server using remote desktop after installing the TSL (but without
licence).
