Hello Everyone,
I have 2 XP workstations (1A,2A) located on siteA and 2 XP workstations
located on site B (1B,2B). SiteA has a local HP LaserJet (default) connected
to a parallel port on XPworkstation1A and this printer has been shared to
XPworkstation2A on siteA via a shared mapped path. XP workstation2A has a
local printer Samsung ML1430 (default printer) on the parallel port and has
also been shared to XPworkstation1A with a shared mapped path. When using
XPworkstation1A to log into a Remote Desktop Protocol session onto siteB,
XPworkstation(1A) all local and mapped printers redirected, and are
available on XP workstation1A. However, when using XPworkstation2A to log
into a Remote Desktop Protocol session on siteB XPworkstation(2B) all local
and mapped printers FAIL to be redirected back to XP workstation(2A). I have
no printing services available on XPworkstation(2A) I double checked the
firewalls on all machines. All XP workstations from both sites are fresh
installs. What am I missing?? I need to have the redirected virutual TS
ports with local printers available on XPworkstation2A Please help. Any
suggestions or trouble shooting tips welcomed. I am stumped!! Humbly
appreciate it. Thank you in advance folks.

Joey

Do you have XP SP1 or XP SP2 installed?
