RDC not connecting after R2 File Mgmt tool installation

I installed File Server Management and File Server Resource Manager tools for
R2 and now I am unable to connect to the server via RDC. I checked TS, it's
running. I checked port 3389, it's listening.

I guess I could uninstall the tools but they looked kind of cool.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

did you reboot ? there was maybe windows update installed but not taken into
account (waiting for reboot).

From a remote station (not from the server), can you from a cmd try:
telnet myserver 3389
do you get a black screen ?

The installation required a reboot. I was able to login remotely to reboot
the server.

Yes, I do get a black screen when attempting to telnet.
