I have upgraded to Windows 2003 Standard Edition from Windows 2000. I was
previously running RAS and VPN with no problem.
I am now not able to start RAS. The error at startup is Unable to load
IPrtrmgr.dll. I have found a few MS documents centered on this issue. I
have confirmed that this file and the 3 others that are talked about are on
the system and read and write capable. I have also confirmed the regristry
values and that they are correct.
Everything else that I see is that I have a corrupt IP stack. Is this true?
The only thing that I have found about fixing this is to uninstall TCP / IP.
This will be very difficult as this server is DHCP, DNS, SMTP, and IIS.
What can I do to get RAS going without redoing all of TCP / IP?
