Hello !

I would like to ask a questions concerning configuration of Radius Server on
W2k3:

I have configured vpn on Cisco router that is using Microsoft Radius
Server to authenticate remote users.

What I would like to do is that depending on the source ip address of the
remote user Radius would assign it different ip address.

How to configure such remote policy on Radius ?
Which radius attributes should I use ?

Thanks for any reply.

I dont see what that has to do with the RADIUS server at all. The
Windows server is only handling the authentication. It is the remote access
server which negotiates setting up the connection. This is where the IP
address is handed out.

Not at all.
Becouse currently ip assignment is based on the user account.
For example user1 in it's account properties -> dial-in tab has fixed ip set.
So when user is authenticated gets the ip.

I've just wanted to change it. I know that Radius can pass a paremeters like
Framed-Ip-Address and many others, so maybe there is way to specify which ip
pool (defined on cisco router) to use or sth ...

Thanks.

I see. Allocating a static IP is a special case. I can't think of any way
you could do what you want to do.
