They don't work very well. You want truly LONG range wi-fi. Check out the
EnGenius Technologies stuff at

www.securtron.net

EnGenius Technologies is truly the ONLY long range wi-fi out there at SHORT
range price.

The antenna worked for me. When working from my lazy boy my signal strengh
used to be in the 60-70% range and is now in the 90-100% range.

I notice that on the page they say " Extend the range of Linksys® and
other compatible wireless routers " but they call it a d-link
extender.
Well for $30, if I can return it easily it might be worthwhile.
