When networking my wife's Win 98 PC to the rest of our
household network, I was required to create a log-in and
password for her (so she could print to my printer).
However, when I created her profile, all the icons on her
quick launch tool bar became invisible.
I know they are still there, because when I try to copy or
move an icon back on to the tool bar, I get the prompt
telling me it's already there, and asking if I want to
over-write it.
I've also dragged the toolbar to the desktop to see if
maybe they were just hidden too far off the screen. They
still aren't visible.
I've also removed the toolbar and put it back; no
difference.
I have a feeling there's a registry entry somewhere that
needs to be tweaked, but know just enough to be
dangerous :-)
Any advise out there?
Thanks,
Michael Rhodes
