When we purchase CALs for access to a Windows 2003 server, do we need them
on a per user or per computer basis? Do the CALs come on a CD?

Hello marathoner,

To get best license information please contact MS support, there are too
many options available for licensing. And most of them, will come on paper,
the rest as a license file, but this depends on your needs.
