Hello--

We have two Macs in our network and although there isn't a problem with
email, etc. we wanted to know if there is a way to join a Mac computer to our
domain?

We mainly would like the Mac users to be able to access network resources
without having to use ftp protocols., like shared folders, etc.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks,

Stephen

Perhaps this URL will help - it refers to using Mac OS 10.3 or higher on a
Windows 2003 SBS Domain, but should apply in most regards.
http://pentechcom.com/sbsdocblog/SBS_Mac_Beta.doc

Also, in my experience, if all you are trying to do is allow the Mac user
to access shared directories, they need only to enter a UNC which will
prompt them to authenticate, then allow them access to those resources
accordingly. This may be different depending on the security scheme on your
Domain, but - as I said - this has been my experience.

Good luck :-)

Good stuff, thanks. I only browsed the attached doc, and it was referring to
W 2003 Small Business Server, but I'm presuming it will apply to W Server
2003 Enterprise, because that's what we have here for our DC.
